A veteran, community banker, and steward of our community, Shane is bringing his record of service and experience in the private sector to build a more responsible and vibrant future for Knox County.
After serving seven years in the Tennessee Army National Guard, achieving the rank of Sergeant, Shane chose a career in banking to help people and continue to make an impact on his community. Serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Knox County/Knoxville Public Building Authority, Shane volunteers his financial expertise to ensure Knox County’s public parks, buildings, and construction projects are managed responsibly. Shane also directs local service projects for the Rotary Club of Knoxville.
Shane and his wife, Amy, live in West Knoxville with their three children. Shane is an avid hiker and mountain biker, often spending the weekends on trails in South Knoxville or in the Smokies. An Eagle Scout himself, Shane shares his love for the outdoors as a Boy Scout leader for his son’s Troop 6.

About District 4
The district emcompasses parts of West Knox County along Kingston Pike from Sequoyah Hills to West Hills, plus the neighborhoods along and south of Westland running from Rocky Hill to Northshore Town Center.
District 4 includes some of Knox County’s most prized parks and natural beauty, including Lakeshore Park, Sequoyah Hills Park, West Hills Park, Carl Cowan Park, and Admiral Farragut Park. The district includes nearly 25 miles of Tennessee River waterfront and over 15 miles of public greenways.
Elementary Schools in District 4 include Sequoyah, West Hills, Rocky Hill, Bearden, A.L. Lotts, Blue Grass, and Northshore. District 4 families are zoned for either Bearden or West Valley Middle, and either West or Bearden High Schools.
